RODD POINT HOUSE

RODD POINT HOUSE
A family home structured around a central atrium courtyard that provides both natural light and a soft outlook to the adjacent living spaces. Voids and open terraces puncture the house creating a transparent connection between the indoor and outdoor spaces. This also provides optimal cross ventilation whilst breaking up the overall building mass. This concept
is reflected throughout the house from the bedrooms to the downstairs living areas. The spaces feel generous as they open seamlessly to the adjacent outdoor rooms. A sculptural stair at the heart of the dwelling links the living areas with the private bedrooms on the first floor.
Designed to have a strong connection to nature in all parts of the house, the terraces and balconies create a outdoor view whilst maintaining privacy in a suburban environment.
